On the week of the 29th of September, communication specialist students at UAL FAD undergo the illustration brief “gates to the circus” – the brief includes an embedded screenprinting workshop (2 colour paper stencils)
Arrangements were made through my line manager with technicians in July to bring screenprinting equipment into the specialist studio so we could teach 80 students rather than trying to accommodate them in the smaller print studio in D block. By having the equipment in the specialist rooms we can do both academic and technical in one session, eliminating the “waiting to print standing around waiting” problem
